I think Nano should take over all auto rickshaws moving in city. An autorickshaw generally costs around 1 lacs plus. By replacing it with Nano it will have better brand value for the driver as well as passenger. It would be more safer on road and protect passengers from dust, pollution, rain etc. at least.

Hope driving sense also will increase amongst auto drivers. It is just a matter of time till then.

for ur kind info... this is a replacement for families who travel on bikes n not for autorikshaws.. I have never come across an auto in india which is equipped with an AC n power steering.. I wonder y do u even bother to look for such cars... get a bmw for urself n let the others travel on 4 wheels.

I too agree to rule out Auto Rickshaw and Role out the Nano, at the same tariff of Auto as it can be given a subsidy by the govt. in view of public safety and economy. NANO TAXI

True Chaitanya, I couldnt agree more with you. More reasons for delight for Auto Drivers and Passengers. Maruti has announce 800 model phase out with Nano's Launch. Hope with Nano's take over, Auto too will be phased out for citizen's delight and greener city.
