Full Review

I bought Indica in 2001.  The car was making screeching noise which the company or their service dealer couldnot repair.  In turn they asked me to submit a certificate from ARAI.  The cost of maintenance is  quite high and also the service quality is  below poor.  Tata had no experience in manufacutring luxury cars before the year 2000.  Tata only manufactured Trucks and Indica is  nothing but a truck in a car's shape.  I am totally disgusted with TATA and have  vowed not to buy anything belonging to TATA.  Maruti, as compared to tata is much better in all aspects.  Now Tata is coming out with NANO.  People should not hurry to buy it but wait and watch for the market reports.  My experience is that the executives of Tata shamelessly refuse all the defects in their cars in public, though they know the defects very well, accept them in private.  I can describe Tata Indica in word "HORRIBLE"

I am not able to decipher which car is more economical and easy to run. I need to buy a Second hand car to start with I have can easily spend 80 thousand. there are cars available in the year 1999 and 2001 Zen thou it lighter car cost is high since the retail value is maintaine becos of the after sales services. Tata indica is strong car no doubts but there is certain amount of fear it may be fatal since the maintainace is high on diseal vechile.

I m not convince with above comments today only Tataindica v2 is best abable diasal model in India. If u go to hair a taxi you will find Indica only and if it has high maintance no travels can use this car.Indica gives THOUSEND & THOUSEND pepoles joi through travels .So Indica is still economy & less maintinance car in among all car ablable in deasal mobel.
