hi vaibhav,
thanks for replying , i am actually not looking for a robust look i am looking for an suv which is actually robust , this suv actually gives to the feel of an executive with a branded car and yet it can be used in rough terrain. i am planning for an suv for actually using as an suv that is off road capability i dont want to buy an suv just to run it in the city and i found that this car is really very comfortable in city becoz of its small size and if the fuel efficiency is actual wat they are claiming then its the best yes after sale service is quite bad thats wat i have heard abt skoda which is a concern and yes the spares of skoda cars are expensive but when anyone buy a 18 lakhs car u can expect the spare to be cheaper but wat i hear is that they have opened a plant in pune for spares so i feel the problem will be resolved as they dont have to import it anymore, i dont know how far is true. i dont understand one thing does skoda car gives such maintainence issue as the brand skoda is very good and there cars normally dont have much issues regarding maintenence. rest i dont know anyways let see because i am really scared buying such an expensive car if there is any technical issues.

Hey Anshuman,
I have not done TD but the looks good from outside. But major concern for people who buy such SUV is meaner look and big size. India does not have culture of soft offroaders. We want big vehicles so fortuner sells like hot cakes. Remember when Scropio came in it took the people by surprise and at that price.
Yeti scores less on appeal and after sales service. SKODA has been facing the a.s.s problems for long now and horrifying stories are what buyers know so they refrain.
What other SUV's have u TD and how were they. Do post ur findings.
