The Worst Experience I Had Post Sales =SKODA INDIA
I bought Skoda Fabia Classic 1.4 Tdi on 07-Jan-2010 from Sagar AutoTech, Bhopal at down payment. Excellent Service was supported. After driving for 5 days, suddenly on 6th Day 13th Jan 2010, my turbo diesel charger started behaving advertly. All pick-up was lost, accleration and smoothness were normal in the vehicle offcourse. I reported to Dealer. He put my Car on VAS - Skoda Computerized Repair & Check System. It Showed No Error. So The Dealer Replied, That It Was just my conviction/ presumption. I said no, its not the case, but he was not ready to accept my pleading. With no other alternative, I sent email to Skoda India mentioning my problem on 15 Jan 2010.
They said to wait for 2 days before I file my complaint with Consumer Forum. Its 4th Day now and nobody cared to respond from Skoda INDIA. I visited Dealer today i.e. 19th Jan 2010 and requested for test drive of same model he has with him. He allowed the same alongwith his seperate marketing guy. There it goes, test drive model has same pick up which i used to have for 5 days. On reporting this to the dealer by his man, he get angry on his sales person and later replied to me, that as i am first customer having such litigation in bhopal with skoda, he is ready to buyback my model for 50,000/- less of the purchase price or if i am ready to shelve another 50,000/- he is ready to change the same model with a new one.
This is the ethics followed by international brands in INDIA. On Communicating with Skoda India, their customer care manager Sridhar Sriniwas in Aurangabad replied, company don't have replacement policy in any condition.....

Today i.e. 20-Jan. - 2010, I visited Skoda Dealer Showroom "SAGAR AUTOTECH PVT" IN BHOPAL. DIRECTOR OF SHOWROOM offered me Cheque of Rs. 6,17,000/- which is less then by 50,000/- of the price i paid for buying up the vehicle. When I said, that you were giving very less price for 13 days old car which is not yet invoiced or registered, he showed no respect and was reluctant to end up the offer.
Chek This Way -
1) Base Price was 6,97,000/- on road price in bhopal, madhya pradesh,
2) Cash Discount of 30,000/-provided by dealer on purchase, on my request,
3) Car Costs me 6,67,000/-, I paid in full..
4) Now after further deduction of 50,000/-
5) My Car value was paid as 6,17,000/-
Then what is the actual price of the vehicle sold to my 13 days back,
on hearing this, the dealer said, that buddy, you collect your car invoice, registration number will be provided later and i am ending my offer, with such regard for valued customers, SKODA INDIA dealers treats Indian Mass as Carrots/ Potatos......
Infact I got my Skoda Fabia full Tank of 47.5 litres for 1750/-, day before which already have 8 litres in reserve at time of filling. The dealer replied, go to the workshop and take out your diesel and carry the same. what a mess....
On visiting workshop, service advisor said he will purhcase full tank diesel for 1200/- bucks, that's it. Being A Pity, I make up mind of not contuning with Skoda INDIA anymore.
I collected cheque. An underwriing mentioning my bad financial conditions i returned fabia to dealer was get signed by dealer from myself to get the waiver from company, supplemented by apology letter sent to skoda india for making false complaint, this is the ethics followed.
I want you guys to please help in propoganda of skoda service support image by advertizing my case in every forum related with skoda india, so that future buyers are aware of acts and practises followed by international brands in our country. This will be a true help to root cause of skoda sales.
