hi
ia have a fabia 1.2 which i purchased in march of 2009 from Giriraj in gurgaon and i have been getting it regularly serviced from there
its clocked round 34000kms
it has been working fine till i sent it for a service few days back and only after d service did my car become extremely sluggish
upon sending the car back the company is saying that there is some problem due to bad fuel(which is something i find hard to believe) and a part has to be changed worth 60,000
they apparently cleaned out alot of "impurities' from the ca
ive left my car at the workshop as of now cause i dont want to get this fixed as it seems very odd that such a major problem arose only after a service and after reading this thread i see im not the only one facing such a problem
any suggestions on what i should do and what the real problem is???

Dear Freind, I do not advise him to sell.He should fight for his consumer reight. It is the problem of fuel pump poor design. Fuel pump cleaning is all eye wash and skoda people are gaining time. Fuel pump of my car has been changed, but no solution.

Deepak even one of my friend who owns a petrol fabia is facing the same problem. he has got his fuel pump cleaned by up thrice but all in vain. He is now so pissed off from skoda's service n lateback attitude dat he is planning to sell of his car for Honda Jazz.

I am talking about 1.2 Classic model Petrol version. Quality of petrol is not an issue. At present about 16 cars os same model(petrol version) are lying at workshop. R & D engineers from Czec Republic are conducting trails. Why they are here? Are they doing R&D at the expense of customer?
