hey guys i have booked my fabia ambiente 1.4 tdi!!!!!!!!!just want to know how can i improve my cars mileage in city ??????????what would be the pressures of the tyres?????
Satya on 28 Apr, 2009 at 04:50 PM
the road vision ,seating position, city driving and high way driving it gives better mileage,a clear sweep with other vehicles, only at 2000rpm it accelerates and gives power so for slow driving peoples a mileage city 18.8kmpl and highway 20.5kmpl with ordinary diesel,if u raise the rpm more it drops to 16kmpl so it's u to decide ,tyres only after 40000kms ,per day up&down 750kms/day no body pain suspension are very good built,so u goahead with this vehicle without any doubt,1.4 petrol and diesel

Dear siva ,asish, nages kindly note that after 1 year 32000km running really i'm very much satisfied with skoda each and every thing very finely tuned and issued to the customer really i'm out of inferior plastic of swift ,body very good stability even at 160km speed i found better road grip ,i'm writing this only after my 12 months experience with this skoda, superior mileage very fine tuned engine only the noise but all the things are really worthy than any other brand in hatch backs, skoda ahea

Forgot to add, if you have the budget to go a little beyond 6L, also look at the Getz CRDi.

@ Ashish
With that amount of daily driving you definately want a diesel.
I would vote for the Swift D. That engine is far more refined than Fabia's.
If you were doing less than 50 km per day, I would have suggested Fabia Petrol.
