Rohit.If u r looking for value for money, then go for swift. But if u look for performance,quality etc then opt for Fabia only. Its true that Services r costly, but I hv sent it to Service Centre Once in last two years.Its due for second service now. Swift has poor plastic interior but its from Maruti.Hence people prefer it. But take my words, there is no match for European Engineering-SANJAY

hi friend, i own a fabia amb 1.4 tdi for last 1.5 yrs and covered 17000km. i totally agree with the comparison made by sunny shetty as skoda fabia is given supreme concern on quality and safely.. that will manage 2L difference with the swift at any point..u wont get the milage/quality intereiors inswift...

waiting for my fabia.its an amazing car and has the best build quality.I go for the cars which are safe to drive and fabia is one and only one in that segment.

Recently we bought a new car after all comparisons, We found out that Fabia(clasic Diesel) was far more comfortable that any other car in the segement, it has manual climate control, ac duct on foot for rear passenger, good sound deck, nice sturdy ride, one touch for all four powerwindows, Saftey for power windows, tilt adjustment for steering,& a Huge Trunk space(it can carry 3 big size Suitcases. (Swift VDI ) do not provide any of these. PS. Air Bags too. its 15000 costlier than dzire vdi.

No comprizon between Skoda and any other car in the same segment on Indian Roads.
One may buy swift for lower prices and more service stations all over India.
Fabia is a premium vehicle, and can't be compared. I have test driven all these hatches, and Fabia made me feel very special. The slightly higher price is nothing as compared to the feel overall.

Both fabia and swift are good on their category. Did anybody tried applying brake at 160Km with Swift and Fabia. If not Do it. Swift will hobble (might skid) but Fabia will stop sticking to the ground. That will be the real comparison. Did anybody drove swift and Fabia up to 2 LAKH KM. Did anybody checked the Metal qualify used for the body of Swift and fabia. This will be the real comparison and it is obvious because you pay less for swift and more for fabia

fabia is a car for those people who have extra cash & dont know where to spend it.it sounds like a tata sumo or a 2 year old tata indica.swift is a gr8 car go 4 it $$$$$$$$$$$$

I liked the Fabia at the first site but when saw on the road, the engine sound disturbed me. This will definitely have an impact in my decision to buy between swift and fabia. Also, it is a bit overprized.
