my swift vdi crossed 50000 km.still i am getting 20 km per liter.superb service,good resale vale.cheap spare parts.only problem is that each and every one has one.if you need some change and if skoda can promise all these after running 50000 km go for it.

i bought fabia 1.4 TDI classic diesel in jan 2008, among the first buyers, i compared it to maruti swift, Fabia has a bigger boot space and believe me when u cross speed of 80-90 kim/hr u don't even know it, it has a turbo engine although has less BHP of 69 against 75BHP of swift but FABIA gives u comfort, feeling of safety and above all a great inbuilt CD player.
Intially the car gave me average of around 12-14km/hr but after 12000 km running it has touched 17km/hr after running for 12000km

FABIA IS REALLY FABOLOUS. paying 8 laks for small car really pains but what get is really INCREDIBLE. more you drive it much you will love it. as you drive it 100 and more you will realise the real pleasure.it easily touches 150 and can even go through 190+ ND STILL GRAET MILAGE. BELIEVE ME ITS TRUE.and afterall this is the easiest way to be a part of internationally praised brand.

i already bought swift vdi.but my frd is planning buy uva.i ll tell him.uva is a good car but compared to swift engine is underpowered.

i own a uva ls. the engine is not underpowered. without ac its pretty fast. one thing is that after 5000 km its very free after the first service. before the purchase i too was feeling the same but its not actually. from afordability and average point with comfort ride build its a great pakage. moreover its have future. its upgrade is ready already launched in korea as gentra x. majorly same only bumper, lights some interiors etc change. but its worthy. check yourself.

i think the base model p will cost 5.5 lacks.uva is good but engine is underpowered and future of that car is not certian here in kerala.

NCR dealers are not telling the prices of Petrol models. Does any one know? After the test drive, I also felt that the diesel engine is underpowered and noisy, hence a big disappointment from Skoda. Given the quality of interiors and Skoda's built quality, I personally feel that the petrol version should be better, if priced correctly. So far, I have shortlisted Cheverlot Avea U-VA (aganist petrol versions of Swift and Getz Prime). Cabin quieteness and ride quality are important to me.
