@Nipun .. . It is not about the dust or clean roads... i have seen a lot of these imported luxuries from very close being used daily in India... I have worked in a garage where i Have worked over Mercs n bimmers n audis... so design is not an issue... The sound that Vikrant mentioned was an Issue in my Honda city too... its due to the brake pads... there meust be some anomaly in them.

Such luxury cars like Audi,Merc ,BMW etc are designed for neat and clean roads abroad. In India, there is so much dust on roads that it gets settled on the brake pads which create screeching noise when brake is applied.Keep the car in neat roads and of course get the pads cleaned as recommended by them.

Hi Vikrant,
Welcome to CarWale.
Have Audi serviced the Brakes after this problem? This is due to brake pads hardening up. May be the brake pads were faulty or something.

Arent u having problems with its brakes ??? .. it makes a screachy noise after 30 kms of drive and then everytime u apply it.. its embarassing to drive this car when it makes so much of noise and the company has no solution to it .. the noise is similar to that of a bus driver applying brakes .. the company wants me to vacuum my brakes everyday before driving the car.. it makes no sense.. that i spend so much of money and then the company still expects me to do this .. even maruti doesnt expect its customers to do this foolish thing..
