Renault Koleos [2014-2017]

Exterior Good  but should have rubber side door protection. Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good but Boss music system from speaker hamper view with reflection in wind screen. Luggage compartment half door latch got broken in 2000 km only and no replacement available. Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Good, in auto magic drive many time gear shift not taking place, need to go in manual for shift in gear. Ride Quality & Handling Good, good. Final Words Tyre quality is very bad, and company refused to replace the tyre which got damaged in just 14670 km, front dashboard speaker should be replaced or in black mat. Areas of improvement Vehicle sold without proper features information, owner booklet is common for all countries, consumer have no knowledge which features his car has been provided which not. Company have very poor response on customer care, and custmor satisfaction is not the moto of company. Wrote three e.mails for asking TPS  and later seller called up with answer that we will contact company for further informations. later after three days a call received from Ranault for explains that this feature is not provided in the car. Upon asking how customer will know the features given in the car answer was we have taken a note of your observation. I lost one of the tyre thinking this that the tyre pressure is ok and drove car nearly three km in flat condition. The company has not entertained for replacing the tyre. Be carefull while buying the car you may find many features given in consumer hand book are missing in the vehicle. Vehicle has run only 15000 km on two years and spent Rs 27000 nearly on two services plus one new tyre for Rs 26700.After a two year of drive, only eng performance is goodAfter sale service is WORST, T he tyres are not for Indian roads although it mentioned All Terron

EThe Renault Koleos is not good vehicle for Indian ROad Condition. The Customer Care service is also not good. It does not value for Money which we are paying. We are owning the renault Koleos Vehicle from 2013 Jan. We met several incidents, Battery Problem, Start up problem, and heavy manintenace Cost. Moreover the Tyres they are using is not suitable for Indian Road condition, The tyres will get damaged even if you ride vehicle in Highways. My tyre get damaged within 6 months, 15,000 KM itself, moreover im using vehicle in Highways mostly, and in city very few times. For this Price one can go for BMW or AUDI at little Higher Price. Because we heard from other owners of BMW an AUDI the service is Good. Customer care professional will do better service. Chennai is the Headoffice, but they will not help for us , they will favor in Dealer side. In photos they mentione the vehicle is good in Tough and Rough roads, But the tyres are not suitable, it get damaged even you drive is Highways.NOT VALUE FOR MONEYWORST CUSTOMER CARE

Exterior Front real SUV looks. But can be mistaken for Duster. An SUV with aero dynamic flow characteristics. Very less airflow noise. Not many colour choices. I opted for black. Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Have to appreciate Renault designers. No space is wasted. Every bit has a utility. Huge cool box which can accommodate 4 Kingfisher bottles!! Dealer given Map my India and rear view camera added value to the already feature rich car (SUV). Excellent seats. With grate all around view for the front seats. Back rest adjustable rear seats are very comfy. With tray table for the rear pax, all comforts are taken care. The Bose system is way above any sound systems in existence. You have to experience it to believe it. I am not a fan of sun roof, as I never even open the winnows in this highly polluted environment. Hence I was happy there is no sun roof. Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Please test drive before deciding to buy any car. Every individual has different driving style and needs. I have test driven Audi Q3 and Senate Fe before decided on Koleos. It just drives like a car. Ride Quality & Handling The handling is very good. It moves very smoothly. No surprises. It goes where you point it to. Final Words No regret buying it. But don’t know about Renaults after sales service. I had Mercedes C 200CDI for last 11 years. I shifted my loyalty because of the service. Here I am taking a chance with Renault. Only future will tell the owning experience of a Renault. Areas of improvement Cant say now.Good style, excellant driver seating with grate road view. Fun to drive.Dont know about Renault after sales service. Could have made it 7 seater.

Exterior The exteriors are pretty good. It gives a look of both city and offroad vehicle. Love the front but backside isnt as stylish. Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) I love the interiors. Very refined and music system is amazing. The electric adjustable seats are gr8. Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox As rightly pointed out in the previous reviews I feel the GB could have been more refined. Further the performance at low speeds is below par.  Ride Quality & Handling Ok ride quality is fantastic but plz read above.  Final Words Now here I want to point out something. Unlike toyota and hyundai. Ok not hyundai(read verna and elantra) who have mastered indian roads renault is a new player. As i realised after test driving fluence and koleos their cars are still european standard. I wouldnt advise buying their vehicles just yet. Areas of improvement Study indian roads and traffic conditions before launching outright. A few more years with mahindra would have been helpful.Great looks,handling, interiors decentThe gear box could have been more refined. Auto not at all powerful.
