Hyundai Motor India Launches 4th Nationwide Free Car Care Clinic
31-Mar,2008Mumbai, March 31, 2008: Hyundai Motor India (HMI), the country's second largest automobile manufacturer and leading passenger car exporter launched its fourth nationwide Free Car Care Clinic in an effort to extend the advantage of its excellent services and free check-up to a larger number of its customers. The Free Car Care Clinic after its launch in 2006 was held twice in 2007. Following the tremendous success of the campaign last year, the Free Car Care Clinic 2008 will carry this idea forward. This year too it will be a two-week long campaign starting from April 2nd and ending on April 14th 2008, at over 350 Hyundai dealer workshops across the country. HMI plans to attend more than 1.5 lakh customers during this camp.
The Free Car Care Clinic will offer a comprehensive 80 point check-up and a thorough examination of the entire car like the engine, transmission, electricals, under-body, AC, etc. Free Check-up is available for all Hyundai customers at any of its 350 dealer workshops across the country, along with attractive discounts on all spare parts and also a free car wash. Apart from this, 20% discounts will also be given on labour and a 20% discount on extended warranty. Special discounts are offered on service merchandising like engine flush, anti-rust coating, engine de-carbonisation and car polish.
To honour and reward the customers attending the camp, attractive gifts & prizes are being offered during the camp period. These include attractive prizes like laptops; free extended warranties etc. Additional attractions like Twenty-Twenty offer - a special discount on parts and labour, will be provided to customers with car mileage of more than 100,000 kms.
During the campaign, Hyundai customers will also have the option to test drive any car from the Hyundai stable. The campaign also gives opportunity for customers to avail exciting offers on car exchange through ‘Hyundai Advantage’ the used car business of Hyundai Motor India .

Last Year Sonata Embera won the ‘Executive Car of The Year 2006’ award from Business Standard Motoring Magazine and NDTV Profit – Car & Bike declared the Tucson as the ‘SUV of The Year 2006’. HMIL has also been awarded the benchmark ISO 14001 certification for its sustainable environment management practices.
