The Cedia is a very stylish sedan, positioned in the C segment of cars in the country. The new version of the popular 'Lancer', the premium car, evolved from the legendary 'Evo' Series of Mitsubishi.
Exterior
The car features a very stylish design. The trendy, wide halogen headlamps, stylistic cuts, swoops and ridges on the bonnet of Mitsubishi Cedia provide a contemporary look to its exteriors. The black split front grille is accented with chrome. The sparkling wrap-around tail lights and 6-spoke alloy wheels add glamour to the sedan. Its cabin provides leg, hip, shoulder and head room to the occupants, thereby making every ride comfortable and relaxing.
Engine
The Cedia features a powerful engine, delivering considerable top speed and high mileage on city roads. Mitsubishi Cedia is powered by 2-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine, which generates a power of 115 PS @ 5250 rpm and a torque of 175 Nm @ 4250 rpm. The engine is equipped with electronically controlled multi-point fuel injection system. The car features 5-speed manual transmission gearbox and promises to deliver a top speed of 180 km/h.
Interiors
The interiors of Mitsubishi Cedia are well-designed, with a trendy instrument cluster, dash and leather finished center console. The seats of the car have been upholstered in finest Italian leather. The trendy four-spoke steering wheel, door pads, gear knob and assist grips are also trimmed with leather. Cup holders are provided in the rear center arm-rest. Wood and titanium, together, make the cockpit look very elegant.
Ride and Handling
Mitsubishi Cedia gets finely tuned suspension system. The car's excellent road gripping and handling makes it perfectly suitable for driving in bumper-to-bumper traffic. It is equipped with a highly responsive engine, which allows for easy maneuverability. The height-adjustable driver's seat provides clear and all-round visibility to the driver.
Safety
Special attention is given to the safety of people riding in Mitsubishi Cedia. The safety features available as standard in the sedan include Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD), dual front air bags, child safety lock and collapsible steering.
Variants, Price and Color
The two variants of Mitsubishi Cedia are Elegance and Sport. The standard variant is priced at Rs 9.87 lakh (approx) and is available in vibrant colors such as County Beige, Ashton Grey, French Claret, Nordic Blue and Black Forest Green. The “Sport” varies also carries the price tag of Rs 9.87 lakh and comes with four color options - Chicago White, Black Pearl, Aussie Yellow and Manchester Red.
