Before purchasing this car I tried santro as well as xeta.xeta is a big flop.Santro & WagonR both are equally good but wagon R wins in terms of looks, city driving & fuel average.I am very much satisfied by the tall boy concept. This makes it very spacious & driving is very smooth.Except for gear shifting, wagonR scores high in all the other creterias

My Dear All,

There is no doubt that WagonR is a good car, but after using my six months old WagonR LXi I found following :

There is a problem while using back gear.

Performance of AC fitted in the car is not good. Even HIGH speed of AC doesn't chilled the car.

I shall be grateful if there is any solution.

Amitesh Dear Sir, Thanks for your comments on WagonR.I am planning for it and have a test drive of Vxi.Can you show me the followings: 1.Have you felt bumpy drive at rear when speed more then 50 2.Have you feel AC is in good condition compare to other car like Alto,Santro,i10 3.Maintenance wise if compare with others, spark gives 3 year maint.free service. 4.Sapace at rear seat and leg space is not sufficient for 3 people. 5.Interior is not impressive only black plastic. Mr.Anonymous, its the first time i am hearing that wagon R is giving an average of 9 Km/litre.There must be something very wrong with your car.At any given time Wagon R will give 12 Km/litre(minimum) in city driving

I drive Wagon R Lxi. The mileage in the city with AC comes barely 9 km / litre. Further, the gear shift lacks smothness and the bounce which is apparent in other hatchback cars. The co. should seriously examine the drawbacks.

No,Mr.Rao,i do not agree with you on the point that Maruti should reshape & reduce box image. To be very frank the present box image is the beauty & its USP

Wagon R. Its high pedal seating is with top roof provides real comfort for bulky tall people. Milage of consistant 13+ is good. Only thing in the future models the compancy should slowly reshape and reduce box image.
