I purchased SX4 Zxi in April 2009 and have driven more than 2000 km. Its a superb car & most importingly it is real value for money. It is loaded with so many features that they are not even in top model of New Honda City. Its ground clearance is highest (190 mm) compared to all other cars. This is very important feature seeing the Indian road conditions. I have driven my car even on 165 kmph (with AC on) on NH-24 but its stability at that high speed was remarkable. I am getting an average of about 11 kmpl in heavy traffic of Delhi, Faridabad & Noida. I recommend everybody with a budget of about 7 – 7.5 Lakh to go for this car.

Pratit, I am having doubt regarding run-in period. At some places it is mentioned that it is upto the first service or first 1000 km and some people say that there is no run-in period. However, I touched this speed only once and now I regularly drive at low speeds and at max 80 or 90 kmph. But I am not getting an average better than 10.5 kmpl in city drives of NCR with AC on, although I have driven it about 3200 km.

Barad, driving your car at a speed of 165 kmph is not recommended since your car is still in a run-in period. Maintain a max speed of 90 kmph for 1st 4000 kms in order to have a proper engine life & good FE.
