Atlast the day have come to write a review for SX4,
I have been browsing carwale for almost 2 months now to decide for my new car
and finally I bought a SX4 ZXI version.
I have test driven all the mid size cars and looked at all aspects of it,
I wanted the following few things in my car:-
a sedan,
a drivers car,
a powerful car with a luxurious attitude,
loaded with security features,
and last but not the least,fuel economy.
And all these features I got it in SX4.

Now let us talk about the all time talked about part "the mileage".
I want to clear out here is that it depends upon your driving habbit,
I just got my tank full today and calculated that am getting around 9.80 kmpl (to be precise)
and i have been driving in heavy traffic for the past one week with AC on.( kept in 24-25 C).

Just to add in here a point regarding how to achieve good mileage,
never accelerate to more then 2000 RPM (exception is in case of 5th gear and your speed is more then 80kmph),
always try to go for the top gear and keep the AC in a comfortable temperature around 24-25 deg C.

The dealer have assured me that after few servicing the mileage will increase.
I need to check the mileage in highway, will keep posted once i get that numbers too.

oh how can i forget to tell you about the steering audio controls. they are just awesome!!
I am enjoying the music system with the controls on the steering.

I have completed 3500 KMS with SX4 Zxi. My mileage has improved to 14 KMPL from 12 for my first filling. Great Car and Iam a happy owner. All features are useful and practical.

Thanks Partha and Pratit!! Regarding back seat comfort, if you compare with honda city the suspensions are a bit harder then city but it is spacious then a city specially at the waist level. one more point regarding the middle seat,yes, it is a bit higher in the middle but my family never had any complaints against it. Just to update since it has started raining in mumbai the temperature have dropped down, this has boosted my mileage!! last tank full calcuation was 10.5kmpl!!

Rohan, i can say you've given an honest review & it really is required rather than a few crazy egoistic who quote their mileage as 17-20 kmph. I myself have booked a SX4 Zxi & never expected 1.6l engine to give mileage more than 11 kmph in city driving. Had mileage been my 1st requirement i would have opted for Diesel Indica. My brother's 1 month old 1.5S Honda City also gives same mileage which is absolutely satisfactory.

rohan its really a true review and the milage part i heard the same thing from two of my friends,you did't write anything about its back seat comfort and space, can u add some more information about it, as i am going to book this car this month only.....
