It will be complete injustice if i compare an i10 with a swift , but i own one and i have tried a swift too ...swift is a superior ride with gud fuel efficiency . its powerful mean n manly ...but on the other hand i10 is a crapy junk . bad fuel efficiency . mileage is arnd 11.9 with ac 0n 80 % n 75 % of the the journey on highways .n service is crap , its been just 9 months since i bot a n i10 , within the first month there has been a cranky sound frm the stereo companrtment , more than 2 services done n the sound still persists .. the key sensor was nt workin after 4 months , was stuk on a highway xactly after 4 months n 13 days , wen i cald road assistance the said they wil send a tow van tomm , wer as maruti is customer friendly gud service n value for money . so dude it wil be better for u to stick on with maruti than jumping on to some korean junkyard drive .

Swift is a good car and well popular brand of maruti. This is a only car of maruti which i like the most. But At The Same Time It Is Not Good As Well. It got a good Handling in, Well tuned suspension, Comfort, Attractive looks, Roomy Interior, Fun to drive specially diesel, Good Resale Value. But there are negative points also like poor back visibility, Pathetic brakes, Cluth, Poor Quality Plastic, Body Rattling Sound, Bad Tires, Thin Quality Metal & Painting. No doubt swift got a great engine but maruti needs to work on its body. I have seened that maruti dropping its quality of cars due to tough competition and pressure of cost cutting.

Swift is not a bad car if you want great riding pleasure. It is probably the best.
I dumped my Swift VXI for a new I20 or may be a ford Ikon just a week back and now i am in a mess as not a single car in that range can match the performance and riding pleasure of a Swift. Most of the other cars can not touch the 100 mark in the 3rd gear which the swift used to do easily.
So guys, this is the best possible car in this segment.

UFFFFFFF,,,, im planning go 4 swift but after reading all this +/- points im confused ? wat to do? whether i have to go 4 swift or switch to other co.plz provide u r feedback on jimmyjoshi2002@rediff.com.

Hi, everybody, while our family decided to go for our second car after our 11 years with M800 DX, my engineering student SON opted SWIFT and nothing but SWIFT (VXi) In face, we test drove Fiat Punto, and Skoda fabia (all three r hatch backs). Why we stick to Swift is : Pundo is well defined and nice car but have to pay 90,000.00 more for 2 more BHP with its 1.4 Lit engine, and some added confort. Skoda fabia gives just 70 bhp from its 1200 CC engine. After all..Swift is good value for money.

er...whats a FAIT PUNO? PUNTO? You Sir, have evidently not driven a sufficient number of cars to know what automobile excellence is and the driving comfort that can be had with other cars in the same class. But then again, ignorance is bliss....so do continue enjoying your 'car'
