This is the most conspicuous car on the road any where in India as a cab. This is for the reason it has lots of space which can be used for transporting large group of people or a few people with lots of luggage.

But you can ride it only for a maximum of one hour. That is, if  you want try out high way inter city laps, forget about this car (!). It offers you great fuel economy (when run on LPG, the running costs are comparable to that of a two wheeler!), good resale value. Especially in the face of threat by Nano, the 800 may run for its life. But not Omni.

On the flip side, there is no crumble zone on the front and the safety is very low in case of a head on collision. Less road grip especially while negotiating curves. Engine is placed below the front left seat and you can start feel like sitting on a stove if you are in the seat for more than one hour. The rear seats are best called as benches. The rear suspension is only leaf spring suspension which is normally used only in vans transporting goods! Don't forget there is no A/C

Other than commercial uses, if you want to use it for personal uses, go for it if you - want to transport 6+ people frequently, and do not have the money and parking space for a Toyota Innova!

If you have only maximum 4 people on most of the trips, don't even think of it!

Using Maruti Omni van from the last 23 years, a complete family car with very low maintenance, if you are not crazy about AC then Omni is a perfect family vehicle. Accommodate easily, 8 people. Wii highly recommends Maruti Omni.

Exterior

 So Many people says it is risky to drive a car without bonnet. but it is all safe if you drive well. It is small shapped and well to handle in traffic.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 Comfortable for 8 people to go at once but non ac makes it less comfortable. Seates cannot be pushed back. and engine below seats don't allow us to fit an ac.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 Fuel economy is same as other cars give.

Ride Quality & Handling

 Good to drive max @ 80 if you have paicence for driving on an empty road. Handling is like power stearing.

Final Words

 I love Maruti Omni Coz as on now I don't wish to invest in costly car as I don't have to travell a lot by car. Mostly all of us need to use our car for max  avg 100 - 150 kms for social travelling, hence it is very convient to be a car owner in few amount.

Space, Joy of having car, Full family traveller,No comfort but less amt does not give that man !!!

It's very comfortable and value for money , multipurpose , mostly used for business purposes to sell things like dresses ,and it like to be auto rickshaw ,so it's very useful to business

Very nice and cost limitation comfortable . Seat are comfertable.low maintenance charge .fantastic colour. Engine voice light and acceptable . This is a remarkable and middle class family acceptable price.

Amazing experience while driving with family, more spacious for big family.

Suspension is more soft and balance is not trusted when we take it to 80 to 90 speed. Braking is so good, night driving light is so clear to view the road clearly. Thanks to maruti India.
