I am using Maruti A Star for the past 5 months. Its an excellent car with good mileage of 19 kmpl. The car has spacious interiors and cute external looks. our whole family loves A Star very much

I dont know every body is comparing with i 10 just interms of boot space and rear space??? A star may be with 998cc engine..... the CC only is may not the yard stick of engine capacity. Power and tarques also need to be consider at respective rpms.
I dont think so its a costlier than I 10 --- if you consider in its range of ERA, Magna, D -lite (these are with same engine power as like A star) which are not equipped with Kappa engine.... and The models with Kappa engine - Magna 1.2 onwards are much costilier than A - star ---- comparatively about 75K with the same features.

A Star is not that much worth that we pay(3.7 to 4.2 lakhs).Only 3 stroke engine,boot space less.It may worth slightly more than Alto may be maximum 3 lakhs.Wagon R is best.

Its been 6 months since i've bought my A star. Awsome car, gr8 handling, avg around 20 in city. @manoj don't compare feminin i10 with powerful A-star

Plz don't compare a-star with i10..., i10 having such nice design & road performance....we know very well that how many nos. of car running on road..Z-star or i10.......Maruti's advertiser/ Lover's...Sorry

a-star is the best for me, 5'5"height, and my wife with three kids. nice looking, small car for duty in the city.

I dont know how mr. vasant u r comparing it with alto.I tjink u knows nothing abt automobiles.Becoz alto has 800 cc engine while astar with 998 cc.And engine power (67 bhp) is not comparable with (43 bhp)Alto.More over ground clearance,bigger tyres ,high torque at low RPM and vichicle width is best in this catageory and evev better than i10 etc.N one more advantage of fuel economy astar is giving 21km/li(highway) as compare to 19 km/li of Alto. I dont know on what basis u r comarin it wid alt

A-Star is having the best power and pick up in its segement, even much better than Santro/i10/Wagon R etc, with better fuel economy. Front sitting is good, but rear seating and boot space is not spacious. Handling is good but over 120km/h it vibrates and trambles.

Leg space and boot space are points to be considered.A Star is one with bigger dimensions in length and width than Alto-Then why lesser leg space and boot space - failure in interior design.
