I've purchased this car recently, but it has changed a lot in terms of performance now, cause my elder brother had santro before but that was a not so powerful, not so light to handle, not so relaxing. i recently test drived "MARUTI SWIFT" i was thinking about an hour why the hell people are promoting swift when its a pure bullshit, i had to force it to accelerate, and Steering was not as light as that of my santro eRLX XL. Swift Dash board makes me remember a OLD MATADOR kinda vintage, seating is so irritating. I bet test drive santro and swift in a day, you won't be buying anything other than SANTRO. Santro seems to have done remarkable changes to power and performance, certainly a MUST HAVE CAR for every one seeking a option in this segment. I get 13KMPL with A.C and around 15-15.5 without A.C. in city. Also power steering is very responsive, makes me use it without efforts. Acceleration is superb, and braking is also good. Only thing i miss is Seat belt Indicator and a plugable adapter would have been loved by all, those cigarette lighters are just hopeless when you need to connect laptop or charger for your smartphones. See ya, mohit

In Santro and Wagon R i thing santro is a best buying.....because it's more pick up and smoother driving....the gear box is also smoother in santro.........and compare santro GLS (with power window) comes at a cheaper price than wagon R LXi (without a power window) and santro also has a better look

Hello I am owning a Santro eRLX , my review is good milage 15-18 , spacious for front seats , good dashboard , good suspension Cons :- Hydrolic Powersteering (would have Electrnoic) , Gear shifting not that smooth as compare to swift (I drove Swift VdI) .

Recently I purchased a santro and really I am satisfied with its performance. It gives around 12.5 KM/l mileage in city condition like Hyderabad. I am very much satisfied with the sitting posture that no other car has. Dilip

Phew! What a strange comparison! Swift nd santro. 1.3 vs 1.1 ltr haha 88 bhp vs 63 bhp ,haha 12.8 secs taken by swift vs 16.8 secs taken by santro (0-100kmph) 5 world awards for swift. (0 for santro) lol...this review is gud,no doubt santro is a gud car in its segment but u can't compare it with swift. Don't write false things plz!

Amod is correct, Santro is best for city drive but it doesn't puts fatigue on driver even if you drive 200Kms in a strech. Only bad point i see it very poor display console, for speedo and fuel/temp meters, they could be more lively. See cars from other countries you just love the console lightings, I am looking for changing color of the backlight in speedo meters, can anyone help me put some glow in that part particularly.
