I purchased i10 Magna on MArch 12, 2008 after considering options from Santro, accent, getz, U-va, Swift and SX4. I choose to go with i10 because of its initial reviews. However, the car is overall OK but fuel economy is quite bad. I am getting an overall mileage of around 9 (50% time Ac on) on Delhi city driving. Its a big hole in my pocket. I am wondering y i hv not purchased a mide size car with better fuel economy. Even two of my friends has also purchased i10 and getting the more or less same mileage. Hyundai peple assured me that it will give a mileage of around 15-16 on city roads. I fm feeling cheated. Till date i hv completed 1600 kms and first service done. If anyone is planning to buy i10, please bear the furl consumption in mind. Santro may be a better option.

Hi guys, I brought my i10 in june 09 and its now done 11,700kms. Love the car but fuel consumption is 10-15% less than I expected.(1.2kappa) The officail fuel consumption figures are highly optermistic and would desuade me from another Hyundai unless I could long term test it first. great little car though. i dont k now how good itsworking with others. But mine is a I10 era which gives me 14kmpl at chennai city and 17-18kmpl on highways with fully AC. other than the too much beige interior, i dont find anything bad in this car.

Even I bought an i10 magna and I find that reverse gear doesn't apply smoothly at all.

I am having a tough time with the i10 dash board.. its a major design fault. hundai should do some thing about this, but milage is good i get around 12-14 in 100% AC in chennai city.
