I am here for the first time posting review on my new GETZ Prime. I purchased it last October 2007. These are my views,

Interiors & Exteriors: Felt good with beige color inside and Golden Earth out side. More to that it is spacious with respect to seating and could accommodate almost anything that could you normally carry.

Mileage: On highway got up to 19 kmph and city limits around 14 kmph with controlled use of AC.

Just an update...Though I am not finicky but since I have spent a big buck I checked the milage for last 3 months. Here is the out come (approx figures) I took these readings at half tank usage after filling the tank full. Instead of 22.5Ltr I calculated by 24Ltr

Performance: I guess every one is troubled with AC in 1.1L engine and it is the same with me. Otherwise the power is admirable. I drove Alto and Palio it stand no comparison in this segment. The vehicle was very stable at 130 km/h speed!

Seating & Driving comfort: For sure I enjoyed and the passengers too including my brother-in-law who is 6 feet tall.

No Noise: While the vehicle is not moving you can hardly hear the engine noise when it is on! And you got to check whether it is on many times!

Features: The best of all you can get but more important is the space that you can make use of including the adjustable seats

CONS
For the same price they could have come with tubeless tiers or ABS or Airbags that could have added to safety.

Hi, I am confused whether to go for Getz 1.1 v/s 1.3. I am worried about the pick up from 1 st gear as this will be mostly used in daily traffic jams. Plus what will be the mileage in these 2 cars

Hi, I am looking for a car, but i have two cars in mind GETZ 1.1 and SWIFT LXI. i am more concerned about the fuel efficency and maintainance. Maruti products service get over within 1500 rupess, but how much Hyundai Getz would come to.I am looking for power steering, AC, good milage and fuel efficency.

Dear Harpreet, Continued...I did not have any specific accessories as such it was as usual mud flaps, tint, mat etc...

Hi Harry, It depends on which gear you are when you hit 80-90 km with AC on. You must be either on 4th or 5th gear and I believe unless you hit a uphill you will not make out a big difference. But surely when the AC is on and you are trying to move the vehicle on first gear you can make out the difference in pick up easily.

hi Mr Krishna..i have booked 1.1 GVS option model.well like everyone i am also apprehensive abt the pickup of the 1.1 engine..tell me if one drives the car at 80-90 km with ac on,how much is the pickup effected.also teel me which acceccories uve have ha in ur car..waiting for ur answer..harpreet singh

Hi There! Did I say I own a GETZ Diesel!!! No my dear friend it's petrol version and I am getting around 14kmpl in city limits.
