Arey ye NEO8 bhaisaab konsi duniye mein rehte hain. i think u did not go through accent ever.
The facts people & owners accept and admit for Maruti cars:
Has biggest service network but not best
Better resale value
BUT
cheap looks - subjective
Rattling sounds over a period of time
cheap plastic interiors
whereas Hyundai has second biggest service network in India compared to Maruti BUT bigger than Maruti Suzuki worldwide
better interiors
good resale value
classy looks - subjective
NO NO rattling sounds for long long time
BUT little expensive service & maintenance
BTW i have swift dzire and accent both so no offence. I only mentioned where there is major difference i found in both of them.

Hi Neo8, Everybody has choice.. so may be wont like Accent.. but there are still people who loves Ambassador .. so you can show your opeinion but this does ot hold true for everyone.
e.g. switft looks me bad car I ever seen lookwise and driving feel like a toy.
royal enfield did not change anything.. but still people love this to drive and it is going on..

No offence to anyone . I would like to say that I would rather buy Tata Manza or Swift Dzire instead of the 20 year car with no upgrades. When was the last time you saw an accent ad. I was once talking t my friend and he said ,Lagta hai accent order pe hi milti hai kyunki jab koi kharidne ata hai to workers factory mein accent banate hain lool. Jokes apart if you wanna buy accent then why not buy an ambasdor which is more comfortable and still better looking.

Hi,
I agree I have recently brought Hyundai Accent Exe from Garve Hyundai Pune.
I am quite satisfied with the package. It's a VFM sedan.
I upgraded from Indica DLS - 2005 to this one. I am unable to understand break response in this car. Its more than once that I have notice when brakes fully applied (emergency) car has tendency to skid on concrete road for atleast 1-2 mts in city traffic (speed between 40-50). I have experienced this myself. Wheels stop rotation but they go on skidding specially on concrete roads.
Can anyone help me if there is any trick I need to know.
Thanks
Joydeep, Pune

Hi, my DAD uses a Accent CRDI(Viva). Ever since he brought it in 2006, I fell in love with the car. It is a fantastic car. I get a Mileage of 18-20 KM/L on highway(@100-120KMH) and 16-17 KM/L in City. I saw many ppl Commenting on the Bad engine of the car. 1 thing must be remembered here. It all depends on how you Maintain your car. U treat the car well & it would treat U well. Get it serviced regularly & change the timing belt & the Pully periodically. This should keep u away 4m trouble. My passion to Accent CRDI lead me to buy one for myself. So in Dec2009 I brought an Oct2006 CRDi from a trusted person, for 3.65Lks. The car is well maintained. This car had done 55K Kms. The day I brought the car I sent it for service and got the timing belt and Pulley replaced. It costed me 7K for the service. (Here I have to mention that the Hyundai service centre Mechanic asked me not to replace the timing belt as the car had done only 55K and was serviced regularly at the showroom; however I did not want to take a chance and asked him to replace it. When he removed the timing belt he found that 3 of the threads were cut and it would have given a problem if the vehicle was run for another 1k); so always trust your senses and not the Mechanics. It had been 8 months since I brought the car and I had already done 10K Kms. Not a single complaint from the car. It is as good as brand new. My home town is Vizag in AP and I work in B’lore. I always prefer to drive to my home town in this car (abt 1000Kms). I had done 4 trips already on this car and never got bored of doing this. To get the optimum fuel efficiency (with A/C) from this car maintain the below speed limit 80 – 95KMH - 21.5KML 100 – 120KMH - 18-19KML 120 – 140KMH - 16-17KML It is always fun to drive this car on highways. Overtaking is smooth and easy. I must truly say that I’m a happy owner for two Hyundai Accent CRDi cars.

Hi
This happens to be my first review on carwale. I bought Hyundai Accent(Executive) in May'09 after a well detailed research.
Initially I wanted a brand other than Hyundai as the car which i was driving curently was Santro so thought it would be a good change. My budget was 6 lacs. I tried various options from Chevy Aveo,DZIRE,Ford IKON etc. Finally I thought of giving a try to Accent Executive(on dad's persistence!!).
Well though other cars are good too but when I drove Accent i just
