I am proud of Indian engineer that they are now concentrating on their own country manufacturation. but now also they are creating some problem in the world if they really want that their country should be at the top.So, they should keep the name of the car in Indian words.

contd... overall i wud say that the car dsnt feel like uve spnt 7 lacs on it...its very sporty bt dosnt appear expensive. engine is very silent even at high rpms...ac is very gud...sound system is top class...very spacious for a hatch...stable at high speeds (arnd 130 kmph)...economy like i said is very gud...gave 18.5 kmpl on highway to hapur...i have one question to all of u?? wud honda reduce its price??? and i rqust u not to criticse me...i respect all of ur sentiments.blv me its a gud car.

hello every1... i am atul from Delhi. jst bought the jazz and totally agree that its way overpriced...bt a gud car none the less giving 13 kmpl economy in city traffic. i jst bought it coz i always wantd to own a honda and i cud afford this car. my parents helped to purchase it bt m giving the emi, arnd Rs.12k for 5 years. let me tell u guys its features are equal to the swift bt its a honda none the less..thats most imp to me. no offense to ne1...its a vry gud car!!! bt very overpriced.

mr subin, swift of suzuki 1.5 ltr is being compared with jazz 1.5 ltr in UAE. the writer only feels that it is grossly overpriced with cars in the same category here in india when this international car is compared outside India and I agree as I own a City and definately wanted to buy the jazz but not at this pricepoint, which is totally unjustified. we all know it is in the 12% excise bracket compared with its own City with 24% excise and 15000 add. excise duty.

Girish, I agree that the car is way over priced when compared but you are comparing the price to a nation where fuel is cheaper than water. UAE does not have any duties or taxes to the parts imported. Thats why you have world class cheap cars & bikes there.

mr subin. this is no justification for pricing the car 2.25 lacs over the other cars in the same segment. All factors like taxes remain the same for all manufacturers .this car does not at all justify its pricing

Each country has their own tax structure which is added to the price of the car when launched. We know that cars in the middle east are cheaper as the govt. taxes and not levied on the manufacturer.
