After many bad experiences with bad service in bangalore, chennai, tirunelveli, I am going to give my 2008 Honda city zx Gxi for service at madurai. The car is great, but too well engineered for even honda trained mechanics. Nobody knows how to rectify any problem. thankfully problems are rare. Service in all the places i've been is an oil change, water wash and an offer for teflon coating. Mr. Raja Raajan, I hope your info on MAdurai is correct, I'm going to send my car from Eruvadi, Tirunelve

my honda gives me only 13 on highway with AC and city is just 11 ofcourse with even sometime dinning in at roaside with AC on. how to improve please suggest

Its been 3 years with my City ZX Exi. I love her guys. Mileage - 13 to 14 kmpl in city traffic with AC. Highway 18 to 19 kmpl with AC.Light foot really helps to up the mileage.From experience i can tell you.. Reving her just a couple of time to do an unnecessary overtake in city traffic really eats into her mileage.Worst i have got is 12. And i must confess.. its because of a little Schumaker stuff i tried.. Foolish me.. Service in Madurai with Sundaram Honda is just so wonderful.

mileage depends on the way u drive u fools!! It gives me around 12 in city and 16 on the highway..and its meant for indian conditions with the senseless traffic and useless roads..it has a vry light steering which is a boon in city traffic but is nt good for highway use as it lacks feedback..and saurav dg ur so retarded...ppl in middle east r way richer than the ppl in india thts y city is cnsiderd to b a crap car in the middle east u retarded fool!! India is filld with poverty and some indians

i am using honda 10 th edition and i am getting the milegae of 11-12 km but i dont know how other people claims its giving 15-16.

The mileage is something you cannot absolutely comment on. I have a Honda City Gxi. I have got an average of 14-15 kmpl with mixed driving on highway and city. Worst I have got is 13kmpl and max has been 19kmpl (yes in City driving conditions).

Honda City is designed for city drive.. this car cant be compared with racing vehicles. Honda is a consistent perfomer in terms of engine or reliability except for his appointment of dealers..never i heard anything good about Honda's dealers throughout this country..

I am from Ahmedabad. Our city has also one dealer, who is very bad in service and charges extravagently. All other car's dealers are picking up car from office/home, but this dealer does not offer this facility. One should opt for Toyota or Scoda, whose dealers are much better then Honda dealer in Ahmedabad

Srivatsan Hari you are right We cant compare lancer and city. For other people it gives an average of 14 in city with 50% AC usage.

I totally agree with Mr. Hari. You are comparing two cars which have absolutely nothing to do with each other. A Lancer can no day be compared with a City. They are in totally different segments!
