I own same 1999 1300 exi model and have something to suggest my own experience to the owners though not new.I feel this vehcle is quite sensitive to driving habits. The weight being less as compared to its equivalent slight breaking is harmful for consumption. It is therefore necessary in my opinions to keeping the car rolling instead of pushin with engine power.A fair judgement of likely trafic congestions, long radius curving ,not touching the cluth padle at all has given me this average exactly

its all because of the awesome indian roads with potholes and all these bloody autos and cyclists.. On the same road u will find a range rover and a bullock cart together

It is true that 1999 model Honda City 1.3Exi is quite reliable car. Of late, I am experiencing breakdown problems only now, in its 10th year of service. It gives quite remarkable mileage (above 13kmpl in city traffic). None other car in its class claims such a mileage. I wanted to look at the feedback for the first time only now, because I wanted to know if there is any feedback on the net about this car model. Overall it is good, but seems to be not able to last beyond 10 years and 2 lakh km.
