I will like to add on some valuable informations on this thread.
I completely agree with the fact that Ground clearance is lowest in its segment, but i also believe to the fact that Honda cannot be compared to Maruti.
Moreover, Honda dosent compromises on Ground clearance is because the driveability comfort increases with cars having low Ground clearance, u can check this with any high segment sedans.
Now, if you want a passenger car, go for Maruti Omni & not City.
Yes, a fact is that u have to be a bit cautious while driving this car & have to slow down at speed breakers & try to cross diagonally. It requires a baby care for Indian roads.
Its good part is tht it will make you a perfect driver for any car.
I have drove around 3000 kms in my city, so my advice is tht if u buy it, care for it, drive cautiously, listen music, & enjoy the Honda ride.

I'm surprised to read all reviews against Honda City. I had finalised to buy it but if all experiences are so bad, I have to rethink & maybe opt for Linea or change track for Innova instead.

SX4 cant be compared to HC.
So what if SX4 has a good ground clearance.
Overall HC is a good package :)
Obviously, its waste comparing Maruti with HONDA
I believe, all will agree
For ground clearance, try moving car diagonally at the abnormal speed breakers...

SX4 is very good choice in this range.SX4 is more spacious also.Or spend some more and buy new Corolla orInnova.

2k kms of new Honda ride made me realize the worst to come in future, least ground clearance of its segment. Recommendation pls don't buy, SX4 would be better choice

I have the City iVTEC and Ground Clearance is realy an issue. You have to drive slow on breakers especially when loaded.

I have Honda City Zx Gxi and drove for more than 20000 Kms. No where i found a single problem and pretty happy with the Car and i was eagerly waiting for new Honda City as we were planning to buy another one. It totally disappointed me from the interior as well as Exterior POV. Interiors are horrible....It does not give you a royal touch as in the older City Zx ( Beadge finish) and i feel it little tight in space also. From the exteriors, First look definitely impresses you but again rear looks

Excellent feed back, ground clearance is a real issue for those cars which will actually be used.I have myself decided to go for SX4 in view of ground clearance issue of City.

The ground clearance is definitely an issue.
Moreover the quality of plastic is bad as compared to the price of the car. It's not fully loaded either. Not value for money.
