Hamm....well Honda Accord  V6 (HA-V6) is a best car you can get in a 20Lks price tag*...for the people who love to stress off the highway....throttle response is very good...Just the thing it lacks is the looks...just outdated compared to it's own Civic and ya many other in its class....then doesnt even give a shit in front of the Style statement TOYOTA CAMRY...but still 6Lks cheaper then CAMRY it hardly need a comparision...

New HA-V6 2007 is much better in terms of  exterior as well as interiors....got a LED tail wit a build in rear spoiler with LED...Side indicators on the side mirrors give a 5star look to this meen power machine...interior gets a Civic touch...dual exhaust at the rear give it a sportier look...

Overall if you have a budget of 20Lks...need a monster heart dressedup executive class with some aggressive sportier looks in bonus...you dont need to go any further....heres the V6 wating for you.

the overall package you get. You hardly get any discount on Honda stuff. I guess persons having exploring the market must be experiencing the same. So please dont think HM is my company and im downgrading the Octavia RS...its just if you are comparing it with Accord V6 or even the Honda Civic i commented all that. & i knw Civic mugen as mch as u knw, personally own Civic 1.8 and i know what mugen will be..which is not actualy a model but an upgrade. So will keep my pants clean. Dont you worry :

about the Cheapness of RS-Octavia...well i have personally experienced Skoda RS-Octavia interior quality. The plastic seems to be cheep. And the other thing is...You will get almost 1L discount on the Octavia RS if you really know to negotiate and Skoda do offer it. I have this experience coz i was personally planning for Skoda Octavia RS & Civic...from witch i ended up with Civic even after i was offered almost a 1L discount on any of the octavias. The reason is not the price its the quality

still be a Ferrari...i am sure almost every one knows what he/she will be buy if they have a choice b/w Ferrari & Evo. I myself praise Evo a LOT, but then when you just add the name Ferrari it means a whole lot different thing. Its just my view ! @ P.....well i dont own HONDA neither the VW that i would be parsing any of the above for marketing. Its just as a consumer i have put forward my views. Being Automobile crazy and personal plans to buy a car i compared HA & Camry.

that time ? @ Akash 272...Well from the start only i am telling that there is no comparison b/w Accord and RS...It was b/w Accord V6 & New Camry. So NO OFFENSES Akash but still going back at the time i posted this review i'll still keep the same views. Ans as you said pure figure dosnt matter "Please dont even think to compare Ferrari & Evo" Note that i didnt write the Model just the company is enough to distinguish both the vehicles under the brand. What ever the figure may be Ferrari will

25th Jan 2007...The day i posted the view on my choice as Accord V6...and today is Jan 31st 2009. So the point is as the numbers on the calender have changed drastically considering the technology. I guess what ever you all are sharing your views are true enough but dont you think you should also consider that the review was made long time back and now the technology has changed a lot so no point in discussing on this review unless and until you are taking about the technology available at

good points being made by all of you. But as far as engine refinement and revving is concerned nothing can beat accord and yes RS is fractionally quicker than accord till 150-160 and after that accord takes off(no replacement for displacement.VW passat has a very disappointing low end torque and midrange performance is its only selling point in terms of acceleration. Camry on the other hand is CBU import and hence is expensive in comparison to accord however the engine is sadly detuned

I agree with you too Samit. But in which category would you put the 2.0L 18lakh C-rv?It's not about the engine size, but the overall performance. You don't need to buy an accord to quench your speed thirst.Import a 24lakh EVO.It's virtually a supercar with decent luxury.Heck, even sitting in a camry changes the way you see luxury cars.If you think camry is overpriced I can't help you.I'm not saying don't buy accord,I'm just trying to bring down the HYPE around Honda cars(accord doesn't rule!!)

I think u both r absolutly right at your own respective parts but why dont you get it u cannot compare a E CLASS(accord) vehicle with a D Class(skoda R.S) more over R.S stands in the rally sport segment where as an accord is an executive class . No doubt and RS can rip the accord in the initial stage but if u test it in expressway i think R.S will lead way behind. so basically wrong comparison. Now coming upto camry. camry belongs to the same E segment but no value for money for a 2.4ltr.

Also give the VW Passat a look.I forgot to tell you the DSG technology belongs to VW .Skoda Bugatti and other european companies BORROW this exceptional tech from VW.Also Passat is a whole lot loaded to the brim with sensors and features you cannot imagine and is almost as fast as Accord V-6.I would say Camry and accord V-6 buyers should give the passat(available in diesel in India) a look.If the interiors of passat look a bit disappointing to you then CAMRY is the one you should go for.
