Ford Fusion is being discontinued as said by the MD Ford India. Is it advisable to still go for it if one likes it.

No, the small car specification says diesel car for <1.4L and <4m, for petrol car it is <1.3L. So only shaving off an inch in petrol version will not work.
What is the experience for people from Bangalore about the pulling power of 1.4TDCI? Can it climb all steep inclines with full load of people and luggage?

I wish they should also chop off the 18mm to the Petrol Version and reduce the amount.
It is really painful to pay some extra 20-30k for the this extra length.
If they do so then the Car Price may tagged less than 6L.
Waiting for FORD to do so :)

Mileage would be dependent on your driving.....bt it should give you above 15-16 in combined conditions......n will be very much in line with fiestas mileage......and the tdci will require more maintainance compared to its petrol counterpart bt wnt be too much more either.....accelaration is average, nothing gr8 abt it.....

great feedback from everyone, im seriously buying it this month. whats the maintenance like on a tdci and is the mileage as good as they claim? since the turbo opens up around 2000 rpm the acceleration must be good too. comments please

the 1 inch is shaved off the bumper for tax purposes, so nothing to go anal about. its a fantastic car with robust build quality and killer mileage. not to mention the superb space and feel inside the car. if you wannna stick out from the 'aam janta', this is the car for you. i'm expecting delivery of a diamond white FF TDCi in a few days :) cheers !
