Hello everyone,
Can anyone pls throw some insight into Ford after sales service and maintenance/performance of Ford Fiesta.. I am planning to buy a sedan by April 2010 and considering budget, personal choice, I have shortlisted 3 cars --- Fiesta, Aveo and Linea. I am talking about Petrol versions and all top-end.

I AM PLANNING FOR A NEW MID SEGMENT CAR IN JAN-2010.I WANT A FUEL ECONOMY CAR. EXPERTS PL SUGGEST WHETHER I SHOULD GO FOR FORD FIESTA 1.4 ZXI OR NEWLY LUNCHED TATA INDIGO MANZA AURA (+) ?? OR SWIFT DSIZE WILL BE BETTER THAN THESE TWO MODELS??

I am planning to buy Ford Fiesta 1.4 ZXi TDCi 2006 model it has done 85000 km they are asking Rs. 420000 experts pl advice me can go with this deal

Well, going through all the Fiesta owner's comments, one can conclude that Ford Fiesta is the best among its segment in terms of looks, performance, style, comfort but servicing (dealer) is the only thing needs to be looked before going for Ford Fiesta. Infact I zeroed down to buying Ford Fiesta, but now i really need to evaluate other options too. One can have best thing in the world but that need to be maintained too & if Ford dealers are the cheater themself then GOD save Ford brand in India

I too own a FORD Fiesta, initially it was giving the mileage of 24 kmpl, but it has come down to 18 kmpl after 36000 km done in 1.5 years even i religiously service my can for every 5000 Kms ( its required only after 10000Km) rest i am happy with my CAR. can any one suggest how to get back to my old economy pls.

I am not a car owner. Autocar/ April-09 (How much you pay for your spare parts) stated that prices of ford spares came drastically down. I am astonished with the style of fiesta. its a tailormade car. defenitely once iwill go for it. comparing ikon, fiesta is much engineered. there is not too much engaging of fiestas to garage like ikons used to. ikon introduced 10 years back and its one of the failure models, which made the indians mind -ve about ford. dont cmpare ford with maruti.

he is correct . service is very bad. my car is having steering problem right from the biginning . .better go for honda seeries.
