I bought the Fiesta ZXI (Diesel) in Oct 2006 and I feel the car is awesome. Maneuverability is too good and thats a huge advantage in cities as you would have to make sharp turns at times. But even at high speeds taking curves seems so easy.

The mileage is also terrific. Even in a city like bangalore I get an average of 15 to 16 Kms per litre. That helps me save atleast Rs. 3000 per month on fuel (comparing the esteem i used to have before i bought this car).

When it comes to maintenance I feel its a little higher than hyundai. But service is good and on time. Expect to shell atleast Rs.1000/- whenever you go for a service. And if its the service at 30000 kms then they will ask to change the oil filter and other stuff and will cost around Rs.3000/-.

The biggest problem though is the ground clearance. I have lost count of the number of times I have banged the bottom. Its annoying!

30000kms the regular service bill i got was of abt rs.7000 which excluded cost of fuel filter. please check that the jets are changed / cleaned at 30000kms of mileage it costs abt rs4000/-. harpreet ford service centre people just forgot to change the fuel filter till 61000kms even though the car was standing at there servicec centre for 10 days every month for one or other problem.

it depends on dealer how carefully he services ur car. you would not have used this car for long trips a lot. i used this car for drives like manali, jaisalmer, udaipur, mumbai ... every where and got it serviced very regularily. first 25000kms were very good there after car was giving a mileage of 13kmpl, engine was having some problem for which i visited dealer for more than a 30 times. my average costing till date (62000kms / 2 years) is Rs.10000/- per 10000kms.

Hi.. The review is quite helpful. Can you brief some more about the maintenance Cost u shelled out through the 40000 Kms. Maybe a rough idea per 10000 kms.
