one more thing i like to say is if your spare parts is cheaper than your sale of ford car will be high.its not only the ford escort whose spare parts is too costly but the new car came like fiesta.endeveour,fussion etc have high cost of spare parts.and make the thing like it will run minimum 5 years without having any problem.

there is one more problem arise in car is starting trouble and once you replace old one with new one than the opposite to that part will have arised problem.
like wise i change the jumper on my backside of car than the jump on front side problem arised and i have to change that also.
i think company is making unnecessary monopoly of spareparts and in india i think ford compay have to think for raising their car sale by decreasing the rates of spare parts automatically the sales will hike.

What you said is correct. the company is not providing proper service to the Escort models. moreover the pricing of spares is absurdly high. once you own a ford car, you will never repeat the mistake again. Ganeshan
