Full Review

I have driven a Petrol A/c UNO for the past 8 years.I really enjoyed drivingit and would say that the ride quality is as good as a Honda city ,which I am driving now, taking into consideration that it is a small car.It is quite spacious and has a large boot.I never faced any problems for service and any breakdown was properly attended too ( though there were never anyy breakdown except for the leakeage from the sleeve cylinder and the axle boot. The car goes to 150 easily and is rock solid and does not loose its road grip. The interiors are also very cimfy with lot of space for small tit bits. The A/c though is not as powerful as it should have been and the fact that that there was a fell of inadequet power when overtaking with the A/c on,also you colud feel a sort of strain on the engine in low speeds when the A/c was on..The mileage was also satisfactory ,it was giving me around 12km/litre in city and 14km/litre on highway with the A/c on.Overall I enjoyed driving it.

I have just purchased Fiat UNO petrol fire 1999 year model. I have one basic question. When you say maintenance of Fiat UNO, Is it impossible or just expensive ? can someone give more highlights ? What parts normally need repair after sometime and any contact details in bangalore for service ?

I agree with the comments of the readers of this column. I am using a UNO for the last 9 1 /2 years and there has been no problem whatsoever. except for the clutch which failed once. But spares are expensive and not available easily. Would the users of UNO inform how they manage their spares. No doubt it is an excellent car which is very comfortable specially on ling drives . I have driven for 400-500 kms at a stretch without any fatigue. The mileage i get is 16-18 without AC. with AC 7-8 onl
