I have used the Fiat Uno Diesel for 10 years, and am very satisfied with its performance. Now spare parts are impossible to find in Chennai.Tata is also not able to supply genuine spare parts though it is the official dealer. Can anyone suggest where I can buy the following: left mirror fitting & a/c grill panels? Also, I have a serious problem with fogging of the windscreen from the front vents - no-one has been able to solve this problem so far.Can anyone suggest a solution?

GOOD RAJESH GOOD COMMENT.. LET RAJEEV KAPOOR CEO OF FIAT READ THIS, THERE IS A HOT DEBATE GOING ON ON TEAM-BHP SITE..
IM TOO OF THE OPINION THAT FIAT COULD BRING THE BIO UNO OF BRAZILE AND SA RIGHT NOW AND MARKET IT HERE WITH DIESEL AND PETROL ENIGNES IT LOOKS GOOD BESIDES IT WILL BE GOOD COMPETETOR FOR ALTO. I TOO WONDER WHY FIAT IS STICKING WITH TATA.

If I am the CEO of Fiat India with complete freedom(i m just a graduate with no other education) I would do for Fiat:
1. Break tie-up with Tata and open/re-open exclusive dealerships
2. Re-launch Uno Diesel renovated, re-shaped, re-furbished and re-engineered with Multijet engine. Make two-variants and make them available in 3.5 and 3.75 lacs categroy.
3. Thus I will capitalize on the goodwill Uno has made/has been making through second-hands purchased by people especially in South.

THOUGH CAR SPARES ARE NOT AVAILABLE STIL FIAT UNO HAS WON MY HEART EVERYTIME I HAD RIDEN.REGARDING SPARES THIS IS ONE TIME EXPENDITURE,NORMALLY RUN ABOVE ANY CLASS OF PRESENT CAR.SO I DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT.I WISH I COULD RELAUNCH THIS CAR WITH SAME PLATFORM BUT WITH CHANGING DESIGN FROM BACK SIDE.REGARDING CLUTCH PLATE OF UNO DIESEL, IT MATCHES WITH TATA INDICA.WE HAVE SPREAD AWARENESS OF THIS GONE MODEL FOR RELAUNCHING IN FUTURE THANKS

Hi,
I'm Alok Pyne. I stay in Indrapuram,Ghaziabad and own a Fiat Uno petrol engine. I dont have any problem with my car but there are some small job works that my car needs. Please advise if I should get it serviced from a local work shop and where can I get the spare parts if I have to buy from market. I think market is the best source as dealers have a monopoly and they intend to make money. You can also write me mails: alok_pyne@sify.com
Thanks!!!!!!!!!

Very Good Car
I have used this car and this was the only small diesel car ruling Indian roads with pride. FIAT people are very bad managers and due to their wrong policies FIAT was and is out of market. I sold the car due to non availability of spare parts and service network. I still wish to have FIAT UNO DIESEL provided the company launches new imroved version alongwith easy availability of spare parts and service network.
