harsh ride? bhagat, it seems you must have driven a really crappy car with broken suspensions or something or maybe not Linea at all, in terms of ride it is best in its class and above.

The comments are bit skewed
Suspension is set hard but the amazing ride and handling that you get in this car you do not even get in the Civic or Altis which are expensive
FE - check whether it shows L/100KMs or Km/L. This you can change in the MyCar settings. typically yo get 13+ in city and 16+ on highways

2. I believe suspension should be well balanced between hard and softness. I agree that your handling will be good at high speeds and big potholes but it would be annoying to drive on city roads. We do not drive our cars on expressways in Europe nor would we use it on the country side. I am sure you agree with the fact that majority of us drive on city roads every day than driving on highways. I would prefer a car which can drive smooth on out city roads

Dear Naveen,
I greatly appreciate your feedback. Please do not take my comments offensive.
1. Europeans might love the Grunt and rough ride but don’t you think we have enough noisy vehicles on Indian road. I like the vehicle which is smooth on acceleration and responds with out noise. I guess smoothness and low noise is the mantra of Japanese Vehicles and big European brands which are very successful.

Dear Bhagat,
Dont mistake the engine sound for crudity and being unrefined. Europeans love to hear the roars of the engines when they rev them up; but that is not a sign of not being refined. FIats engines are some of the best in the world which are being used even in Maruti Swifts.
2. The same thing goes again with suspension; hard suspensions are characteristic of European cars and they in fact give much better comfort if you hit a pothole; comfort in the sense that you do not even know
