@shine where did u buy ur spark?.
At first I had a plan to buy Alto as that only suits my budget but after hearing some discounts & I heard spark is VFM I finally decided to buy spark. I had enquired with the dealer for the price. As I plan to go for a base model he said it will be 3.17 onroad price in coimbatore after discounts. He mentioned there is only 27000/- discount. By seeing ur review I am amazed with that discount amount. Whether 58000/- discount is directly from GM or u bargained with the dealer. Please update ur reply as soon as possible so that I can also plan to buy now itself.

@ Shine: Congrats for your Spark! Yes, Good, Better & Best are all personal perceptions:) I have experience of over 31400 kms and Car is as good as new and in my opinion Spark is the Best Value For Money Car. I am getting very good service too and most importantly Maintenance of this GM car is pretty cheap.

Dear Folks,
I have taken delivery of my Spark on Jan 7. As a previous owner of a Palio 1.2, I would say that the little sparky exceeds all my expectations.
I would not say that it is the best, because GOOD, BETTER and BEST are all personal perceptions. I would just say that it is the best VFM. Absolutely worth every single ruppee you spent. It has got good comfort, good space, a reliable engine and a QUALITY service backup.
I prefer one good service center which is upto my expectation rather than 100s of Service centers with average service.
One thing which I have noticed that the new spark offers much more value as it gives an RPM meter, a digital clock standard across all variants. How many entry level cars offer atleast these two daily useful things?
With 400 kms onboard, the mileage which i am getting is 12.5 with 100% AC with around 150 kms in Stop/Go traffic.
Now I got a hefty discount of almost 58,000 in cash and free maintenance worth 13,000. So the total savings comes around 71,000.

HI Nitin, I paid the amount because when I bought spark this cashless offer was not available.
As far as 13000 amount is concern, this is chevrolet promise of upper limit, if maintenance will increase GM will refund the amount. 13000 is upper limit.

Hi Rajiv,
thanks for the reply. You mentioned the last servicing details. I want to know that that 1565 Rs paid by u or by GM. Please clarify about this 13000 maintenance offer by GM.

it is a complete vehicle with all basic and latest amenities the only shortcoming in comparison is smaller network of service centers GM SHOULD TAKE BOLD INITIATIVES ON THIS ISSUE.

HI GUYS,
THANKS FOR YOUR REVIEWS, VERY INTERESTING. I USED WAGON R, NOW I AM USING SPARK LS , 4000 KM DRIVEN. 1500 KM ON A HIGH TOUR WHICH INCLUDES HILL STATIONS AS WELL.
MY EXPERIENCE: NOTHING LIKE SPARK, PERHAPS I WILL NOT SEE SUCH HIGH PERFORMANCE SMALL CAR IN FUTURE. HEADS-OFF TO THE GM. I would suggest you guys to just have a Test Ride, you will feel like a higher segment car ride. Also, the owners of other cars, pls go for a test ride. Thanks.

Great review. After driving Spark for the last one year, I completely agree with the reviewer. The ride quality is very smooth even after I used it in very bad roads so many times. No noise, vibration etc. Only I feel if it had a more powerful engine. With 5 people inside, with AC on I feel a little dearth of power in highways. Anyway I can't expect more from a car in this price range. If they make available at least an option to take a 1.2 or 1.4 lt engine, that would have been awesome.
