I own this car for 4 months. I was debating between City, Fiesta and SRV before I decided on this car. Basically in most of the paramaters, these cars are somewhat similar. City and Fiesta are slightly easier to drive and are more fuel efficient. But in terms of style and rare-factor, SRV is a head turner. Seats are very comfortable and inside it is very quiet. For concerns regarding social status, it is an Optra derivative hatchback rather than Aveo. For parking problems, SRV is easy to reverse with no boot, but still enough space at back. Rear wiper, adjustible head lights, fog lamps, two way adjustible driver's seat height, bucket seats add to safety, ease and comfort. 4 speaker system with tweeters are amazing. Interior in grey is not too exciting. Turn indicator is on the left of steering, but I got used to it in a couple of days. Gear shifting requires little practice. Excellent shockers. People too concerned about mileage should find running it expensive (I drive approx 1000km a month, which comes out to be Rs10,000 extra for petrol a year! Not a strong reason for me reject this car). And by the way, this car HAS tubeless tyres. Carwale and other websites need to correct their description. City driving in heavy traffic can be tiring. Very good for long and high speed drives on highways. A stable and solid car.

Two biggest reasons for low sales of this car are: 1. People genrally prefer 3 box car at Rs 7 lakh plus; 2. GM has not advertised it, which is why many people do not know about this car.

Hi everyone, I am looking at this car as my second car , i have a Merc C 200 but after I test drove this sporty beauty, i am hooked on to it. Its just amazing how GM has managed to put it all together, why they do not advertise this car is supprising. I am waiting for the SRV to be delivered to me in the next few days. Also I just loved the Platinum colour. Rajiv Delhi
