Died a death that many would shed a tear upon. The Forester was a very capable machine, both on the road and off it. The all wheel drive mechanism was a delight that made any surface on land a cakewalk for this car. It had a delicious handling and nice ride and was reasonably spacious as well. The engine could've been more powerful though. It was a practical car, but lacked the SUV stance because of the lackluster styling. The maintenance cost was one of the primary reasons what killed it. This was a 'star-in-the-making' that never really kicked off seriously.
