   I agree with you. Ialso feel the same. but no way to check. Can any body tell us if average km / litre is less than 9 in city roads

   i own a corolla 1.8J 2007 model and has covered approx 17500 kms.At normal driving conditions, 3 passengers of 70 kilo ( approx at 60 - 70km/hr) constant speed the car delivers a milage of 14.--kmpl, same as compared to a santro or a hundai i10

   I own a Corolla, it gives me average 10-12 kmpl in City, worst conditions 9kmpl and in Highway cruise returns 13-15kmpl. Car is 1.5 yrs old/15000km. So the range is 9-15.
