We bought a brand new Benz S430 in 2003.  After only a few months, the computer system crashed.  The cost to fix it would be thousands of dollars.  We asked the dealer to exchange our car for a new one since it was new, but Benz refused.  We tried to sue, but the fees cost more than the actual car.  Since then, we have taken the car back to the dealership to be fixed numerously, each time costing in the thousands.  For a luxury car, it was not so luxury in its performance.  A few days ago, it rained.  Somehow the rain got into the car, damaging all the wiring inside, causing the tail lights to come on and the battery to die.  The car can not be driven and it was completely damaged.  When Benz designers decided to make the car, they were not practical and made the hole inside the hood, where the water goes out through, the size of a nickel.  This causes the rain to overflow inside the car.  Who cares if a car is luxury if it cannot perform?  This Benz has costed us lots of headaches and money.  DO NOT BUY A BENZ.  From experience, there are better cars out there.
