I bought the Bolero VLX CRDE in June 2009. I have driven around 14000 Kms so far : mostly on highways and hilly and mountainous terrain. When I decided to buy this car over the Scorpio, I expected good power, handling and space. I have no hesitation to say that this awesome SUV has exceeded my expectations on these counts. Particularly I felt the handling quality better than the Scorpio. But aftersales experience with Mahindra dealer in my city has not been good so far. If you are techno-savvy then maintaining this brute without too many dealer visits is not difficult.Combined with easy parts availability and pricing, the Bolero VLX is good value for money.
