I have to commute twice from Thane periphery to the city in the day.Both the times being peak hours, the traffic leaves me exhausted.Also I really dont like driving so much. So I went in for an auto transmission car. Now the choice was limited.Hence Hyundai i20 AT. Its been only 4 days since I bought the car but its a real pleasure. But I had to stretch my budget a lot to fit in this car. Had Maruti given us Ritz with auto trans.it would have been the best thing.Anyways, more about it maybe after a month of driving.

    I got a mileage of 9 kmpl. First service still due.

    Hi Suyash,

    Greetings! Read your review with great interest since I am considering the i20 AT. Can you please let me know your experience around:

    a) Power: Does the car have adequate power? Especially negotiating the flyovers / inclines in thane (i stay in thane)
    b) Fuel Economy: Are you getting the same mileage of around 9? The mileage claimed is much higher i think
    c) Noise: There is feedback that the auto is very noisy inside the cabin - what's your experience

    the car is noiseless. I also have an i 10 which is very noisy. outside noise is well masked in this 1 20. there is adequate power. Power is lacking in the 1200 cc i20. this is 1400 cc and its quite nice. actually except for the mileage ( which I hope increases after the first service)there is nothing u can find fault with this car.
