I used to work with maruti, i was sure to buy alto for its mailage and maintenance, was planning to buy hatch back only , I was dead sure maruti was value for money, i believed so, until i put ma hand on i10 with no intensions of buying it and always felt it was way over priced. As i was with maruti at that time i was so surprised and totaly grounded by this impeccable invention, engine so smooth, handling easy , by the time i finished ma drive i decided iam going to buy i10 car. I came out send the guy back. That night i spoke to my family about i10, every single one were surprised cos i have been praising maruti for so long and a sudden change in me.I am not putting maruti down they are good cars but mind you they are only for economy(only hatchbacks) and cheap spares (though not as cheap as we think ) not for style, luxury or refinement, class, distinction, comfort.I tried conveying the same to my parents. I dint have to convince them much after i took them also for a test drive in both swift vxi and i10 era . My parents who sat at the rear immediately said i 10 was more comfortable and neatly dont than swift.Swift is only better in power and steering when it comes to gear shifting , and ergonomy it i10 .My car just reached its 10,000 mark and iam happy i get 12km per litre in city with ac at the peak hours of chennai traffic.First service is over . in long drive iam getting 15 with ac.I am a very satisfied customer.Money i spent never came to my mind after i started using my car, i.e. i am happy and sure anyone who will buy wont regret either.
