No other way for a large family who travels only with in the city

This is the most conspicuous car on the road any where in India as a cab. This is for the reason it has lots of space which can be used for transporting large group of people or a few people with lots of luggage.

But you can ride it only for a maximum of one hour. That is, if  you want try out high way inter city laps, forget about this car (!). It offers you great fuel economy (when run on LPG, the running costs are comparable to that of a two wheeler!), good resale value. Especially in the face of threat by Nano, the 800 may run for its life. But not Omni.

On the flip side, there is no crumble zone on the front and the safety is very low in case of a head on collision. Less road grip especially while negotiating curves. Engine is placed below the front left seat and you can start feel like sitting on a stove if you are in the seat for more than one hour. The rear seats are best called as benches. The rear suspension is only leaf spring suspension which is normally used only in vans transporting goods! Don't forget there is no A/C

Other than commercial uses, if you want to use it for personal uses, go for it if you - want to transport 6+ people frequently, and do not have the money and parking space for a Toyota Innova!

If you have only maximum 4 people on most of the trips, don't even think of it!
