Is Ikon being phased out?

Folks, I have a budget of 4.5 - 5 L. My driving would be approximately 700 kms in the city per month and occasionally 500 kms on the highway. After doing my research i have zeroed inon the Ikon but i have my doubts about how long Ford will continue Ikon in India.


 


The dealer assured me that this wont happen soon because it is Ford's only entry level sedan in India, Any insider views/info would be really helpful :)

    According to recent Autocar Ford has decided to continue with Ikon and even introduce the TDCI version later this year
