i am a die hard fan of the Premier Padmini.

it has a very strong body and i feel very safe travelling in it on the Delhi roads.

it is an extremely elegant  and graceful looking car--one of the very best lookers even today.

besides, it has a very spacious interior.

this car is, indeed, a Maharani Padmini amongst all the other Indian cars i see around me today.

Frankly, because of the avverage performance of petrol version of Premier Padmini, people seriously underestimated the diesel version, and refuses to listen to the enhancements Premier made to the diesel version in the last days! You can identify the version released in 1998 marked on its trunk as PREMIER Diesel.

The one and only vehicle used by lots of lots of people during the days, when it was first released. Even out first President had the fiat car as his first car.

I am driving this car for more than the decade. I enjoy the driving pleasure. When i start driving the vehicle, everyone fears thinking " What the fiat car, going in that speed? " I usually drive it always around 60-80 kmph in city and around 120kmph on highways.

An excelllent vehicle in all perspective. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great body works and fuel economyCylencer problems

fiat,118NE IS also very good  and well performenced car.and is very safest car in all of those new modeles car Iam satisfied through this car 118NE . I have 118 ne car it is very good in running and very comfortable ones in all of them new

its a really gr8 car which is really close to all our family's hearts...dont feel like giving it at any cost...  good fuel economy of around 14kmpl...not too comfy but not too bad too..its quite good. The engine is really gr8. have done a reboe once....but the car at present is in gr8 condition.....very userfriendly indeed... spares are starting to get sparse...not getting a replacement for the windshield..the steering is not too tight like some of the amby's...it feels like its equipped wid pwr steering...wanna keepit for ever.
driver friendly, good performance, fuel economy, chea nd easy to maintain,..nd so.oonnothing much...not very spacious...3 at the back is a tight squeeze,

I bought my good old Padmini in the year 1998. It is an old car of 1973 model (Petrol). I am very comfortable with this vehicle. Never met with an accident in my life. She is now 46 years old. Yet she performs well. She gives 15/16 kmpl on highway and 11/12 in city driving. It is easy to maintain this car. The car will live with me as long as I live. I have driven this car at 110 kmph on the national highway.

My father had a premier padmini 1979 model. He sold out the car in 2004 in Rs 12500/- only. Defenitely it was a great car interms of power, style, and space. Aisa lagta tha k sofe pe baithey hai. Very spacious. Mileage was 15 kmpl on highway. Hand gear was very comfortable, should be introduce to the new generation models also. seating capacity 3+3 comfortablly. But one time we were 13 members(Adluts+children). out of fashion now a days

Exterior Look wise excellent. I love it. I hope that new cars should also have the same shape and size. So that we can retain the memory of Premier Padmini :).

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very good, but i always think that something should have been provided at leg space area.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Excellent. I have this car from last 20 yrs and still its average is 20Km/l.

Ride Quality & Handling You can drive it efficiently in a huge traffic without any tension. It seems very attractive while driving. You can enjoy its drive.

Final Words Eventhough its a old car, but its fan will never forget to love it. Its a real KOhinoor in Indian car market. I hope premier or any other company should produce such type of car again.

Exterior The styling of this car is good,the boys is stronger than other cars.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The front suspension is superb and the rear suspension is not that much good,the seats are very supportive(bucket and bench type),ac model is also advilable,for some who thinks that the instrument pannel is dated i consider them to choose the S1 version which has a more modern round like speedometer with a clock unlike the ordinary retangle type and the this version has also a front and back courtesy lights and many other features.some versions have fitted with tinted glasses,anti glare rear view mirror,anti threft device ect.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox 137D(diesel engine)-this diesel engine is superb it gives a fuel effiency of 20+kmpl,the gear change is also lesser,and cheap to maintain but the engine is a little bit noisy (but not irritative)

S1(petrol)-it has a nissan engine,it has vert less maintance compared to other cars and also powerful like 137D the grarshift of S1 is very smooth.

Dexule be,economy(petrol)-cheap to maintain,but a bit underpowered,the engine is silent smooth.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality and handling of padmini is excellant,the string is like power steering.

Final Words A CAR BUILT TO LAST FOR EVER.

Areas of improvement Some electricals like reverse lights,body edges gets rusty if not cleaned properly.

Engine,fuel economy,styling,handlingSome spare parts are hard to find.
