Recently , i purchased Opel Corsa SAIL 1.6 black color and i got excited after drove my opel..

It looks very fancy and sexy :-)  Once  you buy Opel sail1.6, black color, you would realize how much its attracting the people, especially when you stick silver sticker on back side number plate and installed white lamp there, then everyone looks at opel only.. It has given that much attraction. I just love enjoy driving my Opel Sail. Performance also is too good!

Ahh.. heard that there is no Resale value and maintenance cost would be heavier for Opel product!! thats weird info.... once you bought Opel, you would never want to sell it to someone else , As long as you have given proper service and changing the oil properly, opel wouldn't give any problem .

Opel will give you pleasure journey  always..

The extremely important part is our life. Opel would obviously save our life,since the body is very much strong and would save you from accident..

The mileage would be somewhat poor, but that can be compensated with its efficiency and damn good looking.. I would suggest you to install standard Torraidal cylinder for your opel, then our economy value would be saved a lot...

Opel is always best unlike other cars!

On a long drive,Opel Corsa is a pleasure to drive.It's air conditioning is perfect, and I hardly needed to cross the 1st slot of ac.The look is amazing and is comparable to some of the best cars internationally available in the sedan category.The ride comfort is very good and particularly on bad roads you realise it's value.The engine is soundless and the steel body would make one feel secured.

I would strongly recommend to GM to start selling this car again in India instead of only concentrating on Chevrolet and which are not truly Chevrolet!

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is optimum and very responsive. gearbox is adequate, Engine is very good. I have personally touched speeds of 165 kms/hr with this car at those speeds also the car is absolutely stable and has a complete grip on the road something I found missing even in a honda city. At the above mentioned speeds most cars seem to glide through but this one is absolutely grounded makes u feel completely n control of it at all times.

Ride Quality & Handling Best ride quality can be compared to cars suc has skoda. handling very nice, it is very stable at high speeds. built is very strong and that is the reason it weighs close to 1400 kgs . it is considered to have one of the heaviest doors in the car market of india. its weight and solid structure also provides adequate security and safety to the pasengers. The steering is adequate and not very light, perfectly balanced so it gives you the feel of the road a all times. Suspensions are good. Opel made the suspension specifically to deal with indian roads and I think it definitely serves its purpose.

Final Words In my personal opinion its a great car and GM should definitely think of launching it back in India which will definitely take care of its expensive parts and moreover work on its economy and it will definitely be an instant success.in short its a great car for people who love their car and dnt just think of it as a mode of transport

Areas of improvement Mileage.

Exterior I have a corsa gls 1.4 2002 40000 k used,car is in excelant condition,i always likes the german car n opel specialy in india,with good beauty ,realy strong body,nice curves ,even todays cars dont have that much strong exteriors,if u wanna campare just open the doors n closed it,hear the sound of much strong,heavy doors.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Well interiors r good,quality material is used not like indian cars u will get same quality in base version or top version just color is changed,lots of space in front n back i m 6 ft so for me its very comfortable n good driving position,like ur driving a sports cars. Engine ferformance is upto the mark no need to change gears to get speed but there r issue i think all corsa uers r facing n it is mileage,its gave me 12 in city and around 15 on highway with a/c on i m satisfaed but u no ye dill mange more,i m still looking for more improvment.

Final Words Opel shouldnt shut down the corsa in india,i have to say its stiil way ahead of todays cars what v can get in 5 or 6 k bugdet,i think its time to re launche this baby with improvment only in mileage area and i m sure its still capable of beating todays most of the cars.

Exterior Looking beautiful and Car like character.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is very clean and like it. all features are their. PS/PW/Central lock,remote. Turbo AC. Good spacious for 5 person. Driving seat is very comfortable. big boot space.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Fuel economy depends upon your driving habit. I drive between 80-100kmph. pressing 1/4 of the accelator.

Ride Quality & Handling Comfort driving. good pickup. love to drive long. easy to park in small place.

Final Words In city it gives me 12-13kmpl and on high way It gave me 17KMPL  with  AC on during my trip to Pudukkottai on 09.10.11( 540 km Up & down).steady drive between 80-100KMPH. Chill AC, smooth driving. it is an low budget and no problem car. When I enquired abouth the car, users said that it gives poor mileage of 6-7kmpl. But when i had experienced in driving it gave me 17kmpl with AC on on the Trichy highway with the steady driving of 80-100kmph.

Areas of improvement Silencer some times hit the speed brakers.

The opel corsa is a car that gets embedded in your mind once you drive it, the comfort is excellent

i have mine with a lpg kit installed and i am happy with the overall performance of the vehicle

Features: The car has beige interiors,wooden finish in dashboard,alloy wheels,all 4 power windows, aluminium pedals, leather seats and 4 speakers. The color i went for is SIMMERING BLACK.I would like to give one advice to people planning to buy a car in near future, please do not buy black color unless you have a full time driver or servant to keep cleaning/shining it all the time.(sadly i do not have one)

Safety :Being a GM car this is one of the safest car in its segment. It has crumple zones in the front and all the doors open automatically in case of a collision or accident. The build quality superb and the McPherson suspension makes it a pleasure to buy.

Engine and AC: 88 BHP generates enough power to take car beyond 100KM mark with/without AC in few seconds. I generally drive it on Greater Noida Expressway and it is a pleasure to ride.

Service: GM service before and after sales is exceptional in Delhi, I have been going to Regent and Vikas Motor(from where i purchased it) for checkup and minor problem correction. They even take car from home, rectify any problem and deliver at my home without any charges. Which i think is a very good thing. The dealer is approx 30KM from my home but i dont mind going there. Every time car goes to the garage i get it back shining as a new one. At one instance i wrote a mail to Vikas motors and got the call form Customer Care within 15 minutes(not like other people who always say that we will call you back whenever you tell some problem).

Mileage: hmm, now this is something everybody looks in a car at first.Even all the people who see my car and like it also ask me the same thing at the first instance. So the answer is that i get approx 12.5 without AC and 11.5 with AC in local Delhi traffic and 16 KM per liter on highways.

Problems: The silencer was touching each and every speed breaker on Delhi roads and had to be adjusted manually. Then there was a minor problem with steering wheel but the GM people rectified it for free(off course it is under warranty).
