The new Volkswagen CC made its debut last November at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Now, the European market launch of the avant-garde four-door begins with the international driving presentation in Southern France. The new Volkswagen CC will be on the market at the beginning of February. In spring 2012, this Volkswagen will then launch globally, including in America, Russia and Asia.

In 2011, the Volkswagen Group exceeded prior-year deliveries as the Group sold over eight million vehicles for the first time in a twelve-month period. A total of 8.16 (2010: 7.14; +14.3 percent)* million vehicles were handed over to customers. Developments on the global passenger car market during the same period were also positive; however growth only ran at 5.1 percent, and Europe’s largest automaker was therefore able to expand its global market share. The Group brands also closed 2011 on a high note, delivering 650,000 (December 2010: 545,600; +19.1 percent)* vehicles to customers in the month of December.

The Volkswagen Group clocked a growth of 109.3% in sales from January to December 2011. The three brands – Audi, Škoda and Volkswagen together delivered a total of 1,11,623 vehicles to customers in 2011 as compared to 53,341 cars in 2010.

Volkswagen sold 6722 vehicles in the month of November 2011, a growth of 46 percent over 4,612 vehicles sold in November 2010.

Two in the boot, one on the dashboard, seven on the rear bench, four on the front seats, two in the foot-wells – then the boot lid and doors were shut, and the windows were closed.

Volkswagen India inaugurated the second showroom in Mumbai from Volkswagen Mumbai West. Volkswagen Mumbai West will retail all passenger car models currently available in the VW portfolio like its showroom in Santacruz West.
