Toyota Kirloskar Motor announced the start of exports of its “World First, India First”- Toyota Etios & Etios Liva to South Africa. The company plans to begin export by March 2012.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor registered sales of 7470 units in May 2011. The company sales grew by 24% when compared to the corresponding period last year. Etios sold 3412 units in May 2011.

Toyota Kirloskar unveiled the new small concept car named as “Etios” at the Auto  Expo 2010 and everyone got to know whats to be expected. The Etios will be launched in India early next year.

Toyota today conducted the Toyota Safety Education Programme (TSEP), a traffic safety initiative, at the Delhi Police Public School. TSEP is an interactive learning programme on road safety, designed especially for school children in the age group of 6-12 years.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) today announced its plans to hike prices of its key models - Innova, Corolla Altis and Fortuner. The price increase will be in the range – 1.5% - 2%. The price hike will be effective from 1st Jan, 2010.  

Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Ltd. announced that the Innova has been ranked highest in the MUV/MPV segment in the J. D. Power Asia Pacific 2009 India Initial Quality Study.  This is the fifth consecutive year that the Toyota Innova has been ranked highest in the J. D. Power IQS Study.

V. Raman Industrial Training Institute, Delhi. With this program, Toyota Kirloskar Motor intends to enhance the technical abilities and employability of Industrial Training Institute (ITI) students in the age group of 16 to 18 years. The program will benefit ITIs in building skilful technicians for the Indian automotive repair industry.
