Toyota Kirloskar Motor began the year with a robust growth of 89%. The company sold 17,395 units as compared to 9,187 units in January last year.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Ltd. (TKM) today announced the introduction of the all new Innova Crysta (Limited Edition), adding to the luxury and premium position of the vehicle .  The new Innova Crysta has been derived from the word “Crystal” which reflects the premium image of the vehicle. Designed to offer exclusivity with selective luxury features, the Innova Crysta comes in Super White body colour with umatched comfort and style. The Innova Crysta is based on the existing VX Grade 2.5-litre Diesel variant and is available in Euro III and Euro IV.

The Toyota Innova is already a big hit in the Indian car market and to make it a bit more fresh, Toyota will give it a facelift. The Innova facelift was displayed at the Indonesian Motor Show 2011, and it had a few cosmetic upgrades on it.  

Toyota Kirloskar Motors registered a growth of 38% in sales in the year 2010, compared to last year. It sold 74759 units in the calendar year 2010 against 54320 units in 2009. The past year was a good one for Toyota for the company launched the Etios, which received phenomenal response and the unveiling of the Liva, its hatchback, which has generated a fair amount curiosity about the car.

Tata Motors launched a new offering in the Winger range, the Tata Winger Platinum in Mumbai. The Tata Winger Platinum is a 7 seater and is designed to offer both luxury and space. The Tata Winger Platinum has been specifically designed to fulfill the needs of passengers who look for carriers but have to depend on Utility vehicles.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has registered a growth of 17% in sales in October 2010 compared to the same period last year. It sold 6602 units in October 2010 against 5650 units in October last year.A growth of 49% has been recorded for the period January to October 2010, over the same period last year.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor announced an increase in prices of its key models, effective October 1, 2010. The price increase of the Innova, Corolla Altis and Fortuner will be upto 1.50 per cent.The price of the Toyota Innova will increase by Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 17,000. The Corolla Altis on the other hand will also see a rise in price of Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 14,000 and the Toyota Fortuner will be witness to a price hike of around Rs. 29,000.

We as Indians, have always cribbed about space, may it be your apartment, your car or even one’s personal cubicle. The idea of ‘big’ has been traced into our minds and we do look for something that is big, spacious and of course luxurious. Come to think of it size does matter, doesn’t it?
