Tata Safari facelift spied

The first Tata Safari was launched in the late 90s and since then it has been the flagship model on Tata Motors, until lately the Aria was launched in October 2010. The Safari has got two facelifts and engine changes. Tata Motors had even revealed its plans to make a new Safari on the newly developed X2 platform, on which the Aria has been built. However, for the time being the Pimpri-based manufacturer has given the Safari another facelift.

Tata Motors resumes production at Sanand plant

We review the new facelift version of the Vista

Everyone has been lately talking about the Tata Vista facelift. Recently, we have reviewed the facelift version of the Vista. The Vista now gets a Manza-like front grille as it sports the chrome grille with the triple barrel headlamps and the front fog lamps get chrome surrounds. A lot of chrome bits have been added to the side of the car, alloys and it now even comes with smoked tail-lamps.

Tata to launch the Manza CS -SCOOP

Tata Motors has been expanding its range by adding more variants to its current portfolio. The Pimpri-based automaker launched the Aria 4x2 this month to fill in the price gap between the already existing Safari and the 4x4 version of the Aria. The Vista will soon get a facelift (as we had mentioned in our older story) where the car will get some features from its elder sibling the Manza.

Tata launches the Aria 4x2 at Rs 11.61lakh

Tata Motors today has launched the 4x2 version of its flagship model the Aria. The Aria’s prices start at Rs 11.61lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Aria 4x2 will be available in three trim levels which include Pure, Pleasure and Prestige. The top-of-the-line Pride model will only be available in the 4x4 model.

Auto sales have slowed down

The cumulative production data (this includes two wheelers, passenger and commercial vehicles) for April-June 2011 shows a production growth of 18.43 percent over the same period last year. The production grew at 16.61 percent this June as compared to last June.

Tata Aria 4x2 bookings open; 4x2 likely to come in a month

Tata had launched its flagship model, the Aria last year. The Aria is only available in the 4x4 version, with as option to switch on to 4x2 on the dash. But now, the Pimpri-based automaker has commenced the production of its 4x2 version. The 4x2 version is likely to be about a lakh cheaper than 4x4 version.
